I'm starting a tutorials section and will add to it as time permits. I'm open to suggestions and if you have any ideas, send me an email at tutorials@pinelakefilms.com
First up is a way to take your native 4x3 progressive scan footage and convert it to high-quality native 16x9. Why not use an adapter for this, I hear you say... because the current solution is an anamorphic adapter from Panasonic which has limited focus abilities and precludes the use of lens attachments. So, if you are like me and you use a teleconverter frequently, you will definitely find the anamorphic lens to be limited in its application. Using software, you can have all the functionality of the built in lens and still produce widescreen footage.
